CTEC is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open - HelpDesk support role for one of our clients.
Summary Provides day-to-day technical support services, locally or remotely, to employees for network infrastructure and internal desktop systems software and hardware.
Installs, configures and troubleshoots desktop, or mobile systems, workstations, and network issues in a heterogeneous environment.
Tests and evaluates commercial and Laboratory developed software for quality control and proper operation.
Maintains passwords, data integrity and file system security for the desktop environment.
Communicates highly technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.
Recommends hardware and software solutions, including new acquisitions and upgrades.
Education Position typically requires a high school diploma and one-to-two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
This is a Telework position and will still be required to go onsite as needed and for random drug testing.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
